As one of New Jersey’s largest and most popular Markets, Morristown’s offerings are second to none. On any given Sunday, shoppers can choose from a wide variety of mouth-watering, same day picked fruits and vegetables from the fields of family-owned farms from all over Northern and Central Jersey. Additional vendors offer small batch gourmet cheeses, cut and potted herbs, a full array of baked goods, and even a specialty pickled foods purveyor that rounds out the culinary selections. The Market offers consumers a unique opportunity to directly interact with the hard working farmers who modern day society sometimes take for granted as the providers of food for our family’s tables.
Fabulous shapes and colors for as far as the eyes can see introduce shoppers to the Market’s other popular area of products from the Earth. Wide arrays of flowers – both fresh cut and potted – offer amazing prices and selections of beautiful bouquets, hanging baskets and container gardens. You can even choose from bunches of unique species to create your own arrangements.
Of particular popularity are the Second Sunday Celebrations that take place during the months of July, August, September and October. On these energy packed days – the Market is transformed into a mini-festival - live performances by area musicians and cooking demonstrations and tastings offered by local restaurateurs fill the air with lively sounds and tempting aromas. Area businesses bring their unique wares for exhibit and sale.
