Bring all the best of the season to your dinner table tonight! Throughout the season you may choose from over 250 varieties of fruits and vegetables, along with local eggs, cookies, bread, our own fresh pressed cider, plants, home-baked pies, apple cider donuts and more.
Our family likes to share. It always has. When our founder, Jim LaPrete, shared his homemade original recipes with people, they asked him to start baking professionally. His idea was to get the freshest product into his customers’ hands as soon as possible. That meant baking all night and bringing his fresh bread and pastries directly to the market–directly to the people.
When Jim started, 40 years ago, he and a few others with the same idea helped to establish some of the first New York City Greenmarkets and New Jersey Farmers’ markets.
Our family has grown over the years. His daughter, Kim, has been keeping her dad’s spirit alive for 30 years now, and the third generation is hard at work right next to Mom and Dad. We are very happy to say that most of our staff has been with us for over ten years, and some have been with us since the beginning. We are very fortunate to have some of the best and most hardworking people at Baker’s Bounty.
Easier methods are available and widely used, but we choose to do things Jim’s way. When your friends are all farmers, it makes the most sense to use their trusted product to produce the best baked goods. If we used canned or pre-processed ingredients, we just simply would not be us, and we like being us. Thank you for letting us share our family’s traditions with yours.
We took possession of the farm in 1997. From the outset it was our goal to raise grass fed livestock. In cooperation with federal, state and county agricultural advisors, we converted a farm that had been neglected for years into a viable farm sustaining hormone free, grass fed beef, sheep and free roaming pigs.
Because what an animal eats and how it lives effect the way the meat will taste, we provide the most natural environment for our animals. Our cattle and sheep are only grass fed. They are not fed grain. All of our animals have access to the outdoors throughout the year. Shelter and shade are provided in our barns and open sheds.
In the summer, our pigs wallow in mud baths. In the winter, they snuggle together in a large lean-too. Even though they have a natural diet of grass, roots, dirt, bugs and assorted nuts that fall from trees; they need grain to get fat. Our pig feed is supplied from a local farm.
Our animals do not receive hormones or antibiotics. Animals are rotated to different paddocks regularly.
Glenmalure Farm is a natural, traditional and environmentally appropriate environment for animals with the goal of providing the best quality meat products to our customers.
In 1975, George Rude began raising a handful of quail on two acres of a farm located in the historic village of Griggstown in Princeton, N.J. At that time the property was owned by Peter Josten. By the time George Rude purchased the land from Josten in 1992, the Griggstown Quail Farm had grown to over 65 acres raising pheasants, quail, chickens and, when in season, Mallard and Muscovy ducks, turkeys, and partridge. All the birds were all natural (free of growth hormones and antibiotics) and cage free without overcrowding, a standard George Rude keeps to this day.
The farm is proud to raise all natural free range heritage breed turkeys, which are the closest breed to the turkeys that the Pilgrims ate. We also raise free range traditional white turkeys and free range pheasants, which are available in the store from October until March. We sell most of the turkeys during Thanksgiving; make sure to place your order early since we sell out each year!
The farm houses a USDA processing plant which processes poultry five days a week. Deliveries to distributors and restaurants are made everyday. The farm sits just off Bunkerhill Road in Griggstown and passers by often see horses peacefully grazing in the fields of the Griggstown Farm.
Jeff’s Organic Produce is one of the longest operating Certified Organic farms in New Jersey. They take tremendous pride in supplying the freshest melons and produce to customers at farmers markets all over the state. “We Only Sell What We Grow”.
Our small-batch facility sits on Hillcrest Orchard & Dairy in Branchville, NJ. We don’t like to brag.. but it’s pretty cool to watch the Jersey cows in the pastures out our windows while we are stretching the mozzarella curds made from their milk. The Jersey cows provide us with a great quality milk perfect for making fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta and plenty of other fresh & aged cheeses.
We have brought together the traditions of Italian cheese making and use of local, farm-fresh Jersey cow milk to produce artisan cheeses right in New Jersey.
We are creating an experience you would only imagine if you were in Southern Italy. From our farm to your home, fresh & aged Italian style cheese that you can truly say is local.

Our Background: Food has always been a part of our lives. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, our path led us to catering, but it was after some time that our true destiny was yet to come. We married our culinary and marketing backgrounds to create a strategic food marketing agency that worked in the foodservice industry creating new marketing, business building and sales opportunities for multi-national manufacturers and chain restaurants. After over 20 years, we focused our business on helping the “little guy” open new food growth opportunities. It was after these successes that we decided to do for ourselves what we were doing for everyone else, and create a business that we had thought about for many years…the creation of a soup company!
When Mary Ann and I were growing up (separately), we always knew that a warm bowl of soup was something that would soothe and comfort us whether we were hungry, sick, cold or just wanted something to eat that would make us happy. As I got older and was living on my own, I could make a pot of soup after work and I felt all was right in the world. It comforted me after a long day, and still does. When our children were young, we would make soup for them and knew that it was our time to sit around the kitchen table and talk about anything that was going on in their lives (it still happens!) Soup has always been our “go to” comfort food that brings us all together.
Today we present to you our company, The Oldwick Soup Company and our brand, “Love The Soup!” We hope you enjoy eating it as much as we love making it, and know that with each “slurp,” you are also part of giving back.

To explain the story of Green Point Juicery, I would first have to explain how I personally got into juicing. Back in 2011, I was working insanely long hours at a popular Italian restaurant in NYC. I would come home exhausted, malnourished, cranky, body aching and would have no energy to put together a healthy dinner. I opened my lonely fridge one night and aside from some left over pasta, there was a green apple, half a lemon, a couple carrots and a stalk of celery. I thought, “What is the easiest and fastest way to get these nutrients into my tired body?” And there it was, lounging in the corner of my kitchen, my very first juicer. It had a stainless steel exterior, a giant pulp container and 2 speed controls. The answer to all my prayers. So I quickly washed my produce, cut them up and began to juice at 10:00pm. By 10:15, I was full, refreshed, happy and smiling through my green juice mustache.
I started reading everything I could about juicing. The machines, the recipes, the history, the science – why cold pressed is best and organic produce is superior. It became my life’s purpose.
Fast forward 8 years later, and I have been lucky enough to serve New Jersey with the freshest, highest quality, organic, cold-pressed juice. Our team is committed to our standards and working hard to keep our full-fledged promise to sustainability. All of our packaging is either compostable or recyclable. We believe that taking care of your health goes hand in hand with taking care of our beautiful planet.
So we welcome you to Green Point Juicery. With our colorful and delicious variety of Cold- Pressed Juices, Vegan Food and Desserts, Superfood Smoothies, Dairy-Free Nut Milks and lush Organic Coffee, we are dedicated to improving the lives of all our customers. Thank you for choosing us as your favorite Juicery and remember to “Drink Juice and Go Green.”
Jana Joyce of Bloomfield is a trained chef; she graduated from ICE in NYC. Which is the reason, she said, her jams aren’t your run-of-the-mill fruit-and-sugar concoctions. She incorporates herbs and spices including basil, cardamom and rosemary, into her creations, made with seasonal fruits. ‘I’m inspired by what I see in the markets,’ Jana said.
She started making jams about seven years ago to give as gifts and as barter for home repair. One person she hired happened to have a brick-and-mortar shop in Montclair. She liked Jana’s jams so much, she began to sell them at her shop. Soon after, Jana began to sell her jams at more stores. Today you can find them at the MC Hotel in Montclair, as well as other spots and online.
Jana’s homerun jam is Pear Lemon Ginger Conserve; it won Best in Show at the American Cheese Society in 2018. The jam is made with fresh pears, crystallized ginger and fresh lemons. Other top sellers include Cherry Honey Rosemary, made with organic cherries, raw honey and rosemary, Blueberry Mandarin Marmalade, and Winter Berry, made with local cranberries, three berries and chopped clementines. Jana is always on the lookout for those seasonal and hard-to-find fruits, like bergamots for her favorite marmalade, a bittersweet labor of love.

ModChai is 100% female founded by two women who believe in the importance of being your authentic self – just
like their ready to drink chai!
We have always been passionate about brewing the perfect cup of authentic spiced chai, but getting an afternoon fix is difficult with a busy schedule. In 2013, we started to brew enough chai to keep on hand ready to drink anytime we wanted. Traditionalist turned their head in disgust when we told them what we were doing to get an afternoon chai fix. The thought of reheating or drinking previously brewed chai was unheard of! It always HAD to be “fresh”.
This is not your grandma’s tea, but it sure does taste just like it! We would secretly serve guests this totally untraditional ready made chai drink and the feedback was consistently positive. It was so easy to serve chai in a pinch with a ton less work. So we asked ourselves…why can’t we have fresh, authentic chai ready when we are?
ModChai was born in 2020. With over 40 years of product and marketing experience we decided to use our superpowers for good and create something the world of chai drinkers have been missing. Freshly Brewed. Perfectly Balanced. Ready-To-Drink. Authentic Chai.
Chai-It. We promise “Tastebud FOMO” will no longer be a thing!
PLEASE NOTE: River Valley Community Grains is a Rotational Vendor.

Having lost a lot of weight myself, I knew for years that I wanted to help others get started on their journey to better health. I am a PNL1 Nutrition Coach (@precisionnutrition), and am excited to provide a partnership with those who want to do so… But WAIT!
Years ago I started growing my own food and I fell in love. The satisfaction of eating nutritious and fresh food grown by my own two hands was indescribable. I wanted to share it all with family, friends and MORE! So, I kept thinking could I really do both? OF COURSE… Why not share nutrition knowledge, give support and accountability meanwhile providing organic and local greens as well. We can all agree that a healthy outside starts from the inside.
Please be sure to follow so you don’t miss a thing!
