EVENT DESCRIPTION
ABOUT
The Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green will once again bring the magic and wonder of the season to the town’s famous Green. Decked out in holiday finery, the Morristown Green will become a wonderland of nostalgia during the month-long festival. Visits and photos with Santa, holiday crafts, ice sculpture demonstrations and rides on a miniature train will all return to delight the children while families bask in the glow of thousands of dazzling lights.
The event kicks off with Santa’s arrival to Morristown and the 100+ year traditional Lighting of the Morristown Green on Saturday, November 29th at 5 pm.
Santa visits and photos will continue until 8 pm, as well as seasonal entertainment and hot chocolate, hot apple cider and cookies provided by the event sponsor, Hyatt Regency Morristown.
Family activities, entertainment and Santa visits and photos will take place each Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 7 pm throughout December until December 21st, as well as Fridays (5th, 12th and 19th) from 3 to 8 pm.
Activities are free to visitors, with the exception of a $15 fee for a photo with Santa.
HOLIDAY MEMORIES
As we send out letters for our Annual Appeal, many donations come back with heartfelt stories of the memories made during the holiday season in Morristown.

With your permission, Morristown Partnership would love to post your memories on our website. Help us welcome Santa to Morristown with help from the Town of Morristown Fire Department, Morristown Police and Morristown Partnership and Town of Morristown officials!
5:30 to 8pm – Programming including Mayo Performing Arts Company. Hot chocolate and cookies provided by Hyatt Regency Morristown and Ice Sculpting Demonstration on the Green courtesy of 1776 Morristown.

Where do I park?
FREE Parking, courtesy of the Morristown Parking Authority, is available in the Ann-Bank Garage on Saturdays and Sundays in December.
Do you need tickets?
No tickets are required!
Santa Visits
Santa visits are open on a first-come, first-served basis—no advance scheduling required. You are welcome to enjoy a visit with Santa at no charge.
Photos with Santa
Photos are available for $15. Please note that personal photography and videography is not permitted without purchase.
Activities
All programming in the Activity Tent, miniature train rides, and ice sculpting demonstrations are offered free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Onsite signage and team members will guide you to queuing lines or seating availability.
What about the weather?
Inclement weather may delay or cancel activities on the Morristown Green during the Christmas Festival. All queuing is outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Check this page and our social media for updates on delays and cancellations due to weather.
What about pets?
Visits with Santa are pet friendly for well behaved furry (slimy and scaled) animals! Please keep in mind, the Christmas Festival is a high volume event with many children present. We ask that you keep your pet home if they do not respond well in crowds… and don’t forget, always clean up after your pet!

All emergencies should be immediately reported to the Morristown Police; Morristown Partnership staff will be onsite to assist with contacting the appropriate emergency personnel .
