Work Description: Decorative Light Pole Repainting – Cattano Avenue
Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Daytime), weather permitting
Start Date: Sunday, August 10, 2025
Project Duration: Approximately 1 week
Special Conditions:
- Sidewalks will be closed in active work zones. Pedestrians are advised to use caution and alternate routes.
- No Parking signage will be posted in areas needed for staging. Parking restrictions will apply as necessary during daytime work hours.
- Pedestrian and business access will remain open wherever safely feasible.
- Noise and odors may occur due to grinding and use of chemical strippers. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption.
- Power cords may extend from nearby sources to energize work equipment. Generators will only be used when necessary.
Work Area
The initial phase will begin at the intersection of Speedwell Avenue and Cattano Avenue, covering both sides of the street. Work will proceed toward Washington Street, starting on the Dalton Parking Garage side before shifting to the Chancery Square side. Each pole will be enclosed in a containment booth during painting to keep the process controlled.
