WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13 ONLY: Decorative Fencing and Light Poles surrounding the Hiker Monument Pocket Park on Blachley Place.

Work Description: Decorative Light Pole Repainting – Morris Street
Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Daytime), weather permitting
Start Date: Monday, August 18, 2025
Project Duration: Approximately 1 week
Special Conditions:
- Sidewalks will be closed in active work zones. Pedestrians are advised to use caution and alternate routes.
- No Parking signage will be posted in areas needed for staging. Parking restrictions will apply as necessary during daytime work hours.
- Pedestrian and business access will remain open wherever safely feasible.
- Noise and odors may occur due to grinding and use of chemical strippers. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption.
- Power cords may extend from nearby sources to energize work equipment. Generators will only be used when necessary.
Work Area
The initial phase will start at the intersection of Dumont Place and Morris Street on the south side (1), moving toward Elm Street (5). Each pole will be enclosed in a containment booth during painting to keep the process controlled. Weather permitting, we anticipate completing up to eight poles per workday.
