The Morristown Bureau of Police would like to remind both commuters and residents that Friday is Halloween. The central business district participates in the Morristown Partnership Trick-or-Treat event and will see an influx of pedestrians. Generally, this contributes to significant congestion on South St. and the surrounding feeder roadways. Please seek an alternate route through town on Friday afternoon and please use the utmost caution while driving anywhere on Halloween. Morristown Bureau of Police officers will be assisting with pedestrian and traffic control. Please be patient with navigating through town on Friday afternoon.
All those participating in the Halloween festivities are encouraged to park behind Town Hall, 200 South St., or in the Dehart St. parking garage for the central business district. There is also a municipal lot at the corner of Franklin St. and Elm St. that will be accessible. Happy Halloween!
