Gourmet Mushrooms
Beginning on the trails of Northwest New Jersey, Fat Caps Gourmet Mushrooms was born out of a love for food and science. We began foraging in 2014, and soon found that we had a passion for mushrooms. We enjoyed researching the varieties we discovered and learning about the nutritional value & health benefits of various mushrooms – not to mention that they taste amazing! Each mushroom variety has a different flavor profile, and our recipes show just a taste of the possibilities. In fact, we’ve been impressed with the creativity that our customers have shown in their culinary skills and the many ways our mushrooms can be enjoyed.
In 2018, we decided to bring our interest in mushrooms indoors. We built a dedicated grow room and started raising a small variety of specialty mushrooms. Since then, we’ve expanded our offerings and are hoping to eventually create our own strains. We love that our hobby has grown into a full-fledged business. Serving restaurants and farmers’ markets, we’re here to bring gourmet mushrooms to everyone from chefs to families. We hope that you can learn about mushrooms as we have and expand your horizons to include a healthy and versatile option to your dinner plate.

Pet Treats
During my childhood in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, my family spent many summer nights on our porch after supper. On his way home after evening walks, our neighbor would cut through our yard and sit down to talk to my parents. He was a great story teller and often told of the delicious meals his family made. On one of these occasions, I can remember him telling us about the babka his wife made and how it was so good, he kaschwabbled it right up!
Kaschwabble!
What a great word! I never forgot it!
So, I decided to meld three of my favorite things: my favorite word – kaschwabble, my love of animals, especially dogs, and my love of cooking! I present to you my honest, hand-made line of pet treats! I hope your pet kaschwabbles them right up!

Teas, Salves, Tonics & Elixirs
Anna is an ex-real estate lawyer who traded in her suits for overalls when she grew her first tomato fifteen years ago. She likes to tell people that she is still digging in the dirt but a different type of dirt.
Growing plants from seed was so satisfying since she could nurture them and help them to grow strong. So naturally growing herbs to help others align with her desire to help people. Since that little tomato plant, her garden grew into a 1 1/2 acre farm full of herbs, flowers, fruit trees and bushes and vegetables. The farm is her happy place where she believes the magic and the happiness from the farm permeates all of her products.
She wants her customers to feel like they are sitting right beside her as she harvests the herbs or picks the fruit for her tonics. And she wants them to smile, when they pick up one of her goofy labeled products since she believes laughter is the best medicine.
Her mission: help people to feel good so that they can do good. The world needs that right now.
Being a lawyer taught her one thing. To be detailed and meticulous in your processes. She is meticulous in making every product that she sells. All products are made in small batches with an eye to quality and freshness. In addition, her farm was certified organic in 2019 and she is exhausting her pre-certified herbs so that all of her products will be certified organic. Plus, she never uses any artificial or natural flavors since she lets the herbs speak for themselves.
Each year she takes out a few original tomato seeds stored in the freezer and plants them. She does this to remind her how if it wasn’t for those tomato plants she wouldn’t be doing the work that she so passionately loves. Healing the world.

Soups
At The Oldwick Soup Company, we have created artisanal soups made with fresh, healthy and locally sourced ingredients. At The Oldwick Soup Company, we work with terrific local farms where we source our fresh seasonal ingredients, and local bakeries. Every purchase of product goes toward supporting our mission of giving back, and we will work with you should you have a group of purchasers for fund raisers, & charities who we can send our products to.
Our Background: Food has always been a part of our lives. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, our path led us to catering, but it was after some time that our true destiny was yet to come. We married our culinary and marketing backgrounds to create a strategic food marketing agency that worked in the foodservice industry creating new marketing, business building and sales opportunities for multi-national manufacturers and chain restaurants. After over 20 years, we focused our business on helping the “little guy” open new food growth opportunities. It was after these successes that we decided to do for ourselves what we were doing for everyone else, and create a business that we had thought about for many years…the creation of a soup company!
When Mary Ann and I were growing up (separately), we always knew that a warm bowl of soup was something that would soothe and comfort us whether we were hungry, sick, cold or just wanted something to eat that would make us happy. As I got older and was living on my own, I could make a pot of soup after work and I felt all was right in the world. It comforted me after a long day, and still does. When our children were young, we would make soup for them and knew that it was our time to sit around the kitchen table and talk about anything that was going on in their lives (it still happens!) Soup has always been our “go to” comfort food that brings us all together.
Today we present to you our company, The Oldwick Soup Company and our brand, “Love The Soup!” We hope you enjoy eating it as much as we love making it, and know that with each “slurp,” you are also part of giving back.

I wanted to share it all with family, friends and MORE! So, I kept thinking could I really do both? OF COURSE… Why not share nutrition knowledge, give support and accountability meanwhile providing organic and local greens as well. We can all agree that a healthy outside starts from the inside.

Fiber Products
The history of WoodsEdge Wools Farm, since it’s inception in 1976, is a story intertwining textiles and a breeding vision.
The premise of the initial business plan was a vertically integrated farm, “from hoof to yarn”. Starting with sheep, Fred & Linda Walker quickly established themselves as leading breeders of long wool breeds. Bringing the first Romney sheep to New Jersey in 1976 and importing the first colored Coopworths into the U.S. in 1980, set the stage for their success. By 1984, the Walker’s hosted their first production sale with guest consignors, and set records which still stand today! Photos of blue-gened Coopworth rams the Walker’s bred over 20 years ago are still used by the breed association as examples of desirable phenotype. The hallmark of the long wool sheep breeds was luster, and it was also the defining trademark of Linda’s yarns.
For the next 14 years, WoodsEdge built an extraordinarily successful bloodstock business around alpacas & llamas. During this time the decision to sell the yarn business was made and the total focus became breeding fiber for end-use. The new business plan focused on breeding for specific characteristics desirable for heirloom items as well as reproductive efficiency.
